For the love of God, people, PLEASE WATCH THIS AND REALLY REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED TO US!  Remember how you were just going about your business on September 11th?  Remember how you might have actually thought the planes crashing into the World Trade Centers was some kind of technical blip or error in the radar?  I remember thinking, "Wow, something must be wrong with the radar!"  I kept thinking, "Geesh, how are they going to fix that?"  HA!  How NAIVE I was and the rest of the country was before this horrible unspeakable day occurred.

I was pregnant with Klara and we were getting ready to go out the door to my doctor's appointment.  We were supposed to have an ultrasound to see whether she was a girl or a boy.  We were SO EXCITED!  Then my mom called...."are you watching TV?"  Yeah...we were watching TV..."Blues Clues" was on...

What the HELL is going ON?  More confused than freaked out at that point....we got in the car and went to the doctor's office.  They had a radio on in the ultrasound room.  My midwife, Klara (my daughter was named after her) was edgey.  Her husband is a Federal Judge and he was on a business trip in Philadelphia.  The nurse practitioner, Rebecca, was phoning her husband who was getting ready to go on a business trip, begging him not to go. 

What was supposed to be a joyous day for our family was overshadowed by terrorism.  TERRORISM PEOPLE!!!  GOOD GOD PLEASE DON'T FORGET THIS!  I laid on the ultrasound table listening to the radio...

"It looks like you are having a girl, Mrs. Meadows!".....in the background hearing "another plane has hit the Pentagon...."

"It looks like your daughter is healthy, Mrs. Meadows!"......background, "A tower has collapsed!!!"

COLLAPSED????  WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN, EXACTLY??!!

We were so naive...we thought perhaps a few floors had fell in or something.  Odd how your mind tries to protect you when something like this is going on around you.  Collapsed.....Collapsed....it can't really be anything.  That can't happen to US.

Guess what?  The other tower collapsed....HELL!!! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE??!! 

Collapsed...COLLAPSED.  Another plane has crashed in Pennsylvania...my midwife is reeling now.

We get up and we leave to go to a tire shop for some repairs.....a tire shop, life is normal.  All of this cannot be THAT bad.

As I sit in the tire shop, the TV in the waiting room is on....they are reshowing what had just happened.

THEY ARE GONE!!! People JUMPING OUT of the towers and now the towers ARE GONE!  How many people DIED???!!! Panic is setting in....

On the way home, we are afraid to go by the Federal Building in town...we go the long way home.

We live close to an airport...no airplanes anywhere....then the next morning....out getting the mail....A PLANE IN THE SKY!

Who would think that something that simple would freak someone out as bad as it did me and my neighbors that day?  A freaking plane....military.

Where is our innocense?  Where is our carefree life we used to have???  WHERE?  It's gone.

STOLEN....STOLEN by DEVILS.  SATAN, himself incarnate in these damned awful, vile terrorists!

Were you thinking of taking a vacation that required a plane?  FORGET IT!  NO ONE wants to fly now.  Airlines suffer....our economy suffers....jobs are lost.

how are they gonna clean up that mess?  Stupid questions that roll through your mind, again trying to numb your emotions.  Boy was that a question with a deeper meaning than first perceived...HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CLEAN UP THIS MESS???!!

WE CAN'T TAKE THIS!  WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!  BOMB WHOEVER DID THIS!  DO SOMETHING, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO SOMETHING!

Don't politicize this day.  Terrorists need to be KILLED.  How DARE they do this to our wonderful country?!  How dare they kill my fellow countrymen.  Republicans and Democrats, alike, died that day....an awful terrible death.  My husband is a paramedic...I remember hearing the sickening sounds of the ambulances that were mangled, trying to scream out but they couldn't.

I don't give a damn if the terrorists are in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, or freaking Canada or Mexico...I want their asses DEAD.  I'm not sugar coating anything here today, I want them dead.  I want them to PAY.  I don't care if they didn't have any direct link to September 11, 2001...why?  Because if you are a terrorist, then it is only a matter of time before you are going to pull this somewhere else and ruin lives again. 

These people have to be DESTROYED.  I don't care where they are or who they are...PLEASE DO NOT FORGET THAT AWFUL DAY PEOPLE!  I don't care how much it costs, I don't care how many years it takes...this has to be eliminated.  It sickens me to think this has happened again to innocent children in Russia.  I don't want ANYONE ANYWHERE to feel the nauseating anxiety and mourning we felt that day.  I love ALL of my brothers and sisters in the U.S....I don't care if you are a liberal democrat or a staunch republican.  I love you and I don't want this to happen again to anyone in this country.

This all feels like a nightmare...one where you scream and scream warnings to someone and NO ONE HEARS YOU.  They just keep doing what they are doing and then something tragic happens.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...stop PUSSY FOOTING around this subject!!! It happened TO US and we have to deal with it!!!  These nuts have to be destroyed!!!

God...three years ago scores of people died.  Scores have died since trying their best to insure this doesn't happen to us again....that our children will be safe in the future...
